The Meaning Behind Our Logo

Image

The Rita El Roi Trust Foundation’s logo carries a deep and spiritual meaning:

  • Three human-like figures in purple and orange stand with raised arms, symbolizing unity, joy, and community.
  • A dark royal blue ark over the figures represents the covering and shield of God over all people.
  • The blue hand beneath signifies that the foundation and all its work rests securely in the hand of God.
  • The name “El Roi”, meaning “The God Who Sees Me” (Genesis 16:13–14), reminds us that God’s eyes of compassion are upon everyone, especially the vulnerable.
  • The words “Trust Foundation” reflect our commitment to building a charitable organization rooted in trust, faith, and love.

Our slogan, “Impacting lives through love” reflects our commitment to creating meaningful change in the lives of vulnerable communities. Every initiative we undertake, from education to healthcare, is driven by compassion, care, and a desire to uplift those in need.

About Our CEO

Image

Mrs. Rita Kimberley Sackey is a devout Christian, a loving wife, and a proud mother of three children. Her life story reflects resilience, faith, and compassion. Today, she is the visionary founder and CEO of the Rita El Roi Trust Foundation, an organization devoted to caring for orphans, widows, the elderly, and the vulnerable in society.

Her journey toward establishing this foundation is deeply personal. Born into a family of six — her parents and three siblings — Rita’s early life was full of warmth and love. But as the years went by, she endured a series of heartbreaking losses that reshaped her world.

It began with the passing of her beloved elder sister, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond. Her sister had even promised to bring her to Germany — plans that would never come to pass. Soon after, she lost her father, a man she held very dear. At the time, Rita had just relocated from Ghana to the UK, and her family delayed telling her about his passing, fearing the weight of the news. When she eventually found out, the grief overwhelmed her.

The losses continued. Her only brother, the one she could call her blood brother, passed away, followed by the devastating loss of her mother. Rita recalls how her mother had insisted she visit, not knowing it was her way of saying goodbye. A year later, shortly after returning from a visit to Ghana, she faced yet another blow: her last surviving sister had died. One by one, she lost all her siblings and parents, leaving her as the only surviving member of her immediate family. As Rita often says, “Pain doesn’t know age.”

Yet, in the midst of this pain, a divine calling emerged. One day, a lady prophet visited her home and said, “I see so many children around you. Do you run any organization or NGO?” Rita said no. The prophet replied, “God wants you to take care of the needy, the orphans, and those in need.” Although she had received similar words before, this time it stirred something within her. Reflecting on her own experiences and the pain of loss she had endured, she knew she could understand the hearts of orphans in a way few could. She finally took the bold step to establish what is now the Rita El Roi Trust Foundation.

Today, Mrs. Rita Kimberley Sackey has turned her pain into purpose. Through the Rita El Roi Trust Foundation, she continues to honor God’s calling by providing love, care, and dignity to those society often overlooks. Her life’s mission is a testament to the truth that beauty can rise from ashes when faith meets compassion.
