Bringing Hope to Cherubs Orphanage Home

In 2024, the Rita El Roi Trust Foundation had the privilege of visiting Cherubs Orphanage Home in Santasi-Apire, Kumasi, located in the heart of the Ashanti Region of Ghana. This visit was part of our ongoing commitment to reaching out to vulnerable communities and extending a hand of love, care, and support where it is needed most.

During our time at the orphanage, we met with the dedicated management team, who openly shared the daily challenges they face in caring for the children. Their needs ranged from educational materials and nutritious meals to healthcare support and improved living conditions. Listening to their experiences reinforced our belief that every child deserves not just basic necessities but also the hope of a brighter future.

Thanks to the generous contributions from our partners and well-wishers, we were able to respond to some of these pressing needs. We presented essential supplies including food items, clothing, toiletries, and learning materials. These donations were carefully selected to ease the immediate burdens on the orphanage and to create a positive impact on the children’s well-being.

But our visit went beyond the delivery of items. We spent meaningful time with the children.Sharing stories, playing games, and encouraging them to dream big despite life’s challenges. Their smiles and laughter reminded us that while material support is important, emotional connection and hope are equally powerful gifts.

This experience has deepened our commitment to supporting Cherubs Orphanage Home and other similar institutions across Ghana. Yet, the needs remain vast, and we cannot do this alone.
