RITA EL ROI
In 2024, the serene town of Brodekwano in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region witnessed a day filled with compassion, care, and community spirit.
As part of its mission to bring essential services to underserved communities, the Rita El Roi Trust Foundation, in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Service (NHIS) and the Methodist Community Health Clinic, reached out to the people of Brodekwano with open hearts and helping hands.
For the very first time, residents of all ages. Children, youth, and the elderly benefited from free health screenings, renewal of NHIS cards, and new registrations for the national health insurance policy. No one was left out.
The atmosphere was filled with smiles and gratitude as people accessed services that would otherwise have required long travels or expenses many could not afford.
The assemblyman, clearly moved by the initiative, shared his joy in an interview, expressing how historic and impactful this outreach was for the town. He emphasized that never before had an NGO brought such a significant project to their doorstep, and the community would remember this day for years to come.
This visit was more than just a health initiative. It was a message of hope, showing the people of Brodekwano that they, too, mattered and deserved access to quality healthcare.
Below are some photos capturing the warmth and gratitude that filled the day.
